UP-DATE ON THE PROGRESS OF RAPID-BALL DURING 2003

The number of players continues to grow.

The total number of racquets sold through the two outlets in Mallorca is over 160. Racquets and balls have been sent to clubs in Germany and Monaco.

Famous faces to try the game (to the writer’s knowledge) during the year:

  • Jaime Matas - President of the Balearic Government
  • F. Morientes - Footballer – Real Madrid and Monaco
  • Ross Norman- Ex-world top 10 squash player

The next major tournament will be held at the Elite Racquet Club, San Agustín, Mallorca, on the 16th and 17th January 2004, when a special Handicap Tournament will be staged.

It is hoped that inter-club challenge matches will be arranged throughout 2004/2005 as well as the major championships: Spanish, European and World.
